When Jenny asked to borrow my vehicle for the weekend, I told her that she needed to purchase short term car insurance. I did not want to sound bossy; however, I only owned one vehicle and I wanted to make sure that it was around for as long as I needed it. Jenny agreed to my stipulation easily and purchased the policy a couple of days before she planned to leave for the weekend. While she was gone, she called to ask if she could use the vehicle for a couple more days. Amending the policy was easy and Jenny was able to use my vehicle for a couple more days. Buying the short term car insurance policy, as well as adding the additional days, was very easy.
